How The Former President is Spending Women’s History Month — A Poem by Christopher D. Sims

He is probably
thinking about
how many more
pussies he can
grab without being
tried; without being
denied; without
facing any crimes

rubbing his slimy
hands together

getting better at
not caring about
women at all.

Standing at a stall
in Russia pissing,

preparing to meet
with Putin; putting

on a charade
for the chauvinist

who is also rubbing
his slimy hands
together.

Together, they make up
the worst team ever
when it comes to
women’s rights; when
it comes to human rights.

They want women
to tirelessly fight;
to shut up; to sit down;
to be seen and not heard.

“No words for women
this month! Shut the fuck
up!”

The former president

is crafting a “no woman
policy” for his son’s upcoming
political campaign. “Pain, I
want pain, for every woman
on this Earth!”

He sits perched on his
porch pondering potential
policies that will peel back
centuries of women’s
gains, wins in politics;

he wants to purge particular
pastimes where women march,
meet, make movements happen,

to put stop signs up to be in
the way of future female progress!

He is a mess standing
in front of his wife wondering
why she is even there

without thought, without
any fear of loss about how much
being without a woman
would cost his soul.

Why is there even a “Women’s
History month in the first place?!”
is leaving his fat mouth, his
stupid face.
