Black women
are constantly
viewed through
the tightest lenses,

through the far-
reaching clutches
of white supremacy.

The world, the media
has a tendency to
try and deflate the
power of her.

Black women are
super jump shooters,
are relentless rebounders

who will remain victorious
long after the scathing remarks,
the vilification of their character.

She ignores
who you think
you are, what you
think your words,
your finger-pointing,
are accomplishing.

She has a world
to carry on her
shoulders,
revolutions
to start.

Black women
make jumping
over hurdles
you put in front
of her

look like
an art.

You will not be
able to tear
them down,
or tear them
apart.
