The Way Black Women Laugh At Donald Trump — A Poem

The way Black women
laugh at Donald Trump
is hysterical! Is medicinal,
transitional pertaining
to the trajectory of white
male leadership in the United
States.

I have heard Black women
die laughing, cracking up
at the Crown Ruler Of White
Nationalism containing a
lack of universality, lacking
an encompassing broader,
wider, vision.

Picking up cell phones,
watching videos, pointing
at his new sneakers that “Black
people will buy” laughing
all the while at his supposed
style!

To a lot of Black women,
Donald Trump is a joke,
a hoax, a character not
worth even the time or
taken seriously. Deliberately
Black women watch the news
just to see the man who
is a buffoon, someone
who deserves his own
sitcom or cartoon!

The other day my mother
found me in the living room.
She showed me a picture
of the former president that
looked funny, shameful. We
laughed so hard, eventually,
laughing was painful!

He is his own comedy special.

Black women snicker, giggle
at Donald Trump.

Maybe that’s why he’s always on
television or in the news. Black women
need something, someone to laugh at
to keep from singing the blues, to
keep from singing the blues.

All jokes aside, American politics
under his leadership, has taken
a huge dive. Racists parade with pride
without seeking any type of disguise.
Eventually, we might say Democracy
has died if The Man Who Continues
To Divide And Lie worms his way
back into the White House.

Black women will not laugh then,
to God they will scream, shout!
